Terms of use

The deal, in
plain English.

Pay per call, no subscription, no warranty that a heuristic is the truth. Here is what you are agreeing to when you send a URL.

Prototype copy, written for layout and tone review. Not legal advice and not reviewed by counsel.

The service

NanoParse accepts a URL and returns clean Markdown plus 20 trust signals about the page. It is a measurement service. It does not host, publish, or endorse the pages it measures.

Price and payment

  • $0.005 per test, paid in USDC on Base over x402, per call.
  • No subscription and no minimum. There is no plan to cancel.
  • Charged on success only. A failed render, a blocked page or a timeout is not billed.
  • Network fees. None are charged to you; the facilitator covers settlement cost.

Refunds

Because payment is per call and only taken on a successful test, a completed test is not refundable. If a test is charged and returns nothing usable, tell us the transaction hash and we will make it right.

What the signals are, and are not

The 20 signals are deterministic heuristics computed from observable features of a page. They are not a statement of fact about whether a claim is true, and they are not a substitute for your own verification.

A "high" structural trust score means the observable signals are strong. It does not mean the page is correct. A "low" score is a reason to check further, not proof of bad faith. You remain responsible for what your agent does with the result.

Acceptable use

You may not use the service to:

  • attack, overload, probe or attempt to bypass the security of any site we are asked to fetch;
  • obtain content you have no lawful right to access, or to circumvent a paywall;
  • break the law, or violate the rights of others, in the jurisdiction that applies to you;
  • build surveillance, harassment or doxxing tools;
  • resell the API as your own without an agreement with us.

We fetch pages as a normal reader's browser would, and we flag gates rather than defeat them. Accounts and keys do not exist here, so abuse control is rate limiting by network — which means we may throttle or block traffic that looks automated in volume.

Availability

The service is provided as-is, with no uptime guarantee. We may change, limit or discontinue endpoints, and we may change the signal set. Material changes to the signal set or the price will be announced on this site before they take effect.

No warranty, limitation of liability

The service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim.

We are not liable for decisions made by your agents, for the content of pages we measure, or for any downstream use of the results.

Changes to these terms

The effective date at the top of this page changes when these terms change, and substantive changes are described here rather than edited silently into the text.
